 | Shanghai Mission of APLA (18th to 20th, June 2006)
During the trip in 18th- 20th June 2006, the Delegation organized by the Asia Pacific Law Association (APLA) visited the Shanghai Foreign Trade and Economic Committee, the People’s High Court of Shanghai, Bureau of Justice of Shanghai, Shanghai Bar Association, Shanghai Public Security Bureau, the People’s Procuratorate of Shanghai and Fudan University, receiving high standard hospitality. The Delegates organized a conference with the Shanghai Bar Association to discuss the issue “how Shanghai and Hong Kong lawyers should cooperate to serve China during its evolution to be a strong economic power”. Moreover, the Delegates exchanged ideas with the Shanghai-Hong Kong WTO and China Development Research Centre of the Fudan University in respect of “WTO and legal services”.
